BMW sulev warranty

My  BMW has 148k miles ,does the warranty cover
oil change filter and a around checking out the
engine making sure everything is good uner the
hood?

No, the 15 year, 150K warranty only covers the emission related parts and fuel system. The car also has to have some trouble codes for a dealer to make a fix under warranty. If you are in CA or NY, no problems. Other states you aren't so lucky and will have to fight to get dealers to cover you if there is a problem and the warranty only good for 7 year or 70K miles in states like PA.
