Rear window help

Asked by reno_835 Jan 19, 2017 at 02:50 PM about the 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLT Ext. Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2009 GMC Sierra 4 door.
The problem I'm having is:
If a rear passenger rolls the window down
they can not roll it back up. I will only roll
up from the drivers door controls. This is
the case with both rear windows!

Well that tells you the motor and regulator is good, check for a bad switch on both passenger up/down and driver's enable/disable switch.

I have a 2017 2500 GMC Sierra and the rear wing won't close all the way. When fully open it only closes about an inch. What would be the reason it will not close?
