Why did my car die while running ?

My car had a check engine light that came
on and off on occasions then my car died
on way back from work it had low oil and
won’t stay on it kind of buckled ? Before it
died still turns on but turns off .

The check engine light is warning of problems. I need the trouble codes to advise you.

Literally same thing that happened to me. Did your car make a loud knocking sound right before dying?
