My husband recently changed out the fuel pump and now it acts like it's out of gas. Now the starter or ignition system acts like it wants to start, but it doesn't.
My 2010 F 150 was doing the same thing. When you turn the key to start, it does not start, but the key stays engaged and has to be manually turned back to off. Have the EVAP system checked on the vehicle. That was the problem with my truck. Also, when filling the gas tank, when the nozzle clicks off, do not force feed it with more clicks. That is what I did and it causes liquid gasoline to be forced into the EVAP system damaging components.

my truck just makes a loud continuouse clicking noise when I try to start it up. but the lights and things still work fine when not started up yet. what could be the problem?

Blinkers do not work while driving...BUT if you turn truck off and turn ignition to AUX. they work just fine??

It turns over but does not fire the owner said not all dash lights are coming on which when it does that it won't start
