Hi, I have a ‘09 F150 with a remote
start issue. It’s a factory install (Code
system) with a separate remote. I go
to start it with the remote, and I get
one honk and it doesn’t start. I’ve
changed the hood sensor and also
reset it with sequence of key, brake,
and holding button under the dash,
but still can not get it to work with
either remote. Any other ideas that
may help? Thanks.

If your check engine light is on the remote start feature is disabled. Hope that helps! Jim
