What is the easiest way to compress the rotors on a 2009 spectra to accept the new pads?

Compress the rotors? I am going to take that as you mean compress the calipers to fit on the rotor with new pads. OK? A "C" clamp on the new pad and back side of caliper. Sometimes you have to open the bleeder valve to relieve pressure but not always. If they don't compress with minimal pressure (the 'C' clamps are strong) open the bleeder.

My pleasure. How to compress a rotor now: Take rotor, place on anvil, heat with acetylene torch until glowing red and hit with sledge hammer 250 times. That ought to do it. Sorry countryboy, couldn't resist...all in fun
