I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 what would cause the automatic lights, AC/Heater temp control, and Air direction modes switch, to all not work? The ac/heater fan still works and regular lights still work fine. Lastly, what started it is that my AC stopped blowing cold air and when I tried to recharge the system, all the things I've said that don't work being working again until the ac quits again then they all go out again. Anybody have any answer?

I have the same issue in my 2009 ram 1500. it is the heater control unit. the sun sensor on the dash sends a signal to the heater control unit and that sends information out via can-bus to control certain features including the auto headlights and AC functions you lost

I still haven’t figured out the permanent fix but I can pull one of the 10 amp fuses and put it back in and everything works for a while

Not that it's a permanent fix but I removed the 10 amp fuse and reinstalled like I read in other forums and everything works again. I'm sure soon it will be a trip to the dealer

Continuity in all the fuses, removed 10 amp fuses listed for hvac and put them back. No need to spend money at this time. AC is working. My last recharge was last year, same for coolant. Will up date if error happens again

Any update on this yet? I have 2010 ram sport and my auto lights won't come on. Less I do them manually. My climate control or defrost nothing works besides fan spees!

Yea it’s the climate control module. Go to a pick and pull spot and buy one for like 30 bucks. It should work. While you got that off you might as well replace all of your blower door actuators. This worked for me under 100 bucks and probably takes 30-45 mins.
