I have several issues with my 2009 dodge ram 1500 slt that I cant figure out, the first problem is my window. One day I notice my driver side window was not working. I figured it was either the motor or the rack. I pulled the carrier plate off and checked the rack and it seemed fine (there was no damage to the cable and it moved smoothly) so, I replaced the motor. once I replaced the though the window only moved 3\4 of the way up and is currently stuck. That is the first issue, the second is the foor lock when i replaced my motor for my window i also replaced the door lock actuator. now the door lock only works part of the time and none of my doors will lock properly. of anyone has a suggestion that would be awesome.

I would just make sure nothing is binding in your window mechanism after replacing the motor. Does the window go all the way up if you move it manually? Make sure there are no pinched wires either in the motor or lock circuits. Do your other door locks work if you disconnect that one? Not sure about the reprogramming of the BCM

Nevermind what I said about disconnecting that door lock switch, all the power for the rest goes through it. I just found the wiring diagram. I should qualify what I say, because I have an '01 manual for mine, and i see you have an '09. Have you tried putting the old switch back in? Sounds like some of the problems popped up after putting in the new switch.

You might also check wiring between the door and body. Those wires are breaking from so much flexing.
