How do I get the plug off the oil pressure sensor on my Dodge ram ?

Asked by Drew Jul 10, 2019 at 05:31 PM about the 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Crew Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm trying to get the plug off of the oil
pressure sensor? It's got two red buttons on
the side I was told to pull them out? But
what does out mean? Which way?

Try squeezing it too. Sometimes you have to push the plug in a little to get them to release.

If squeezing them doesn't work, snag onto the lower end of that red cross piece and firmly pull down. Or go the other way, up. It's sorta like a cross lock thing.
