Sensor or vanos????

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, I changed the O2 sensor 6months ago. But the engine
light is on again.
I bought the lambda sensor but unfortunately I was told
it's a different fault : vanos Intel!!!
It's confusing me.
Please help
