White smoke from tail pipe?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2009 mini cooper S, small white puff of smoke.
Only happens once  in awhile after stoping at a  
light. Oil stabilizer and thermostat. Any other
suggestions other the gaskets

This can be normal during a season change when temperatures and humidity swing and down during the day. Also does the car fully warm up during your driving? If you have short runs then you could be getting moisture build up in the exhaust system. You should also check the PCV system and air filter.
