i have a 2009 mini coooper base automatic, do i need to do a transmission fluid change or is it not necessary

I do not know what your owner's manual says about car and the last time I owned a Mini it was mini and it twern't no automatic. If your manual says inspect or change then do so. I hate flushes though., drain it.
