I have 2009 grand Cherokee Laredo 3.7 can I change the battery myself or do I have to take it the garage

You can also buy a "memory minder" or memory saver" cheap, they plug into an auxiliary socket like the cigarette lighter and keep your saved settings. Also, most auto parts stores will install the battery you buy from them as well.
