My AC blows air but not cold air and has no leaks and is fully charged.

Asked by Murphy Jun 01, 2021 at 06:08 PM about the 2009 Ford Explorer Limited V8 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2009 Ford Explorer Sport Track and my AC stopped blowing cold air.
I had it at a dealership (not Ford) and they spend a day on it and could not find
the reason?  No Leaks and fully charged.  I took it to an AC Specialist, and he
was boggled why it did not work?  Said was never stumped before.  Any ideas
on what it could be before I take it to Ford and spend more Money?

I would suggest the temperature door under the dash is stuck in the heater position or partially in the heater position. It is possible that the refrigeration system is working fine but you're not getting cold air because of this. Hope that helps! Jim
