09 Rav4 shaking and ck engine light flashes intermittently.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

First time slowing to take a turn slightly
downhill..second time going slightly uphill it
started shaking and the ck engine light blinks
and goes off...seems sluggish and then poof
everything is fine.  , new pads and rotors new
plugs and coil packs and the next day
slowed down to take a turn and it shook and
the engine light flashes again.

Do you think it might be a good idea to see what code was stored when the check engine light came on to help understand what is going on? Have an automotive parts store pull the code or codes as that's the starting point.
