I have a 2009 Subaru legacy and it threw a rod. I was wondering if i can bump my engine from a 2.5l to a 3.0. Would i need to make any major changes? It also has a manual 5 speed trans.

^^ exactly. Might require a ton of work if the harnesses don't line up and sensors are different. Definitely ecu change. Good luck.
