I have a 2009 Subaru Outback with a bad transmission. Can I swap it out for
a 2008 transmission, same model?

Yes. Any 2005-2009 same model trans will fit

Hi, Would it matter if the 2008 transmission used a 3-bolt inhibitor? The 2009 uses a 2-bolt inhibitor. Will it still plug into the 2009 and work with the TCU without issues?
