Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Mechanic said has changed bleeder unit & thermostat -- still overheating (I did
put some stop leak in overflow tank twice - had slow leak in radiator) . No leaks
or cracks in head or head gasket , but mech. says need to pull heads & I don't
understand. I'm a Disabled Veteran & don't have a lot of money to spare .

Try bleeding air from system like this remove cap from overflow tank fill with antifreeze to full mark leave cap off and start vehicle and let idle you will notice level in tank start to rise this is normal once thermostat starts to open level in tank will drop add more antifreeze to full mark then put cap back on.
