No power unless key is in the ignition and turned to the run position

Asked by Kyle Jan 30, 2021 at 04:58 AM about the 2009 Dodge Charger SE RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2009 Dodge Charger 2.7. I’ve lost power to
everything unless my key is in my ignition and
turned to the run position. The first turn on
position I think doesn’t even work. My key
phob will not work to lock or unlock the car.
Sometimes unlock works but just once. I lost
power in all of my steering wheel functions.
No turn signals, wipers, brights or cruise
control. No power mirrors and now windows
won’t roll down. It started with the wipers, turn
signals, bright and cruise control. Then the
remote lock and unlock went, now the car will
not produce any power such as interior lights
unless the key is turned to clicks over just
before start. Trunk won’t open and doors
won’t unlock unless key is in that position.
BUT the radio powers on still. I’ve checked
fuses 5 times. I’ve installed LED headlights,
brake lights and interior lights, fog lights.
nothing crazy and the correct parts. I have a
12” subwoofer with a built in amp and under
glow. I replaced the stock front door speakers
and radio.
Battery is good, alternator is only 2 months
old. The led under glow is ran through add a
circuit in the trunk. The LED fogs have a
switch and grounded correctly.
With the ignition switch missing the first turn
could that cause all of these problems? Bad
multi function switch? It started getting
weaker so it seemed when I’d flip down for
left turn.
Body control module?
TIPM?
I had to replace the PCM a few months ago
after a injector shorted from a misfire which
fried the PCM.
I just noticed the ignition fuse in the trunk is
hollow and when I removed it and tried to
place it back the car would not start. I had to
bend the fuse slightly to find contact.
Please help.
