2 button key remote start

I have a used 2009 patriot. It started on its own with the key in my pocket. Is this an
indicator of a major problem? Or does it have a remote starter indint know about?

My daughter has a 2013 Patriot and had the same thing happen this morning. Have you gotten any info on this?

Yes the x2 button starts the patriot
