Codes on my car

Took my car to my mechanic and said that
the car is coming up with a lot of codes
where he doesn’t know where to began. He
says it’s nit the engine or transmission. What
could it be?

Is he a Mercedes mechanic? Mercedes require a lot of specialized knowledge and tools/diagnostics to work on. Try asking this question on Benzworld.org, as other Mercedes owners may have gone through same thing. It may be a fried ECU or ESI or ?
