2005 ford escape suv

Bought 2005 ford secape suv a week
ago yesterday. Young lady we bought it
from had just had the computer
replaced.    We bought it out of town, it
drove fine the whole way.   My husband
parks it in our driveway( from hell), all
full of chunky snow and ice.  Of course
he gets it stuck,  trys and trys to get it
unstuck until it dies.   It has not started
since.  He has replaced the battery and
is going to be putting in second starter
tomorrow.    Anyone have any idea why
this vehicle wont start and or how we
can get it started.   Thank you!!!!
