How to change a headlight in 2009 traverse

I am not kidding .... After you remove the front bumper facia then the bolts are visable. 1.6 hours if you know what you are doing :) Good Luck

u gotta take out the headlight case. remove the wiring at the rear of the bulb. if the bulb has been on for some time , then take care while handling it as it'll be too hot. after disconnecting the wires , remove the old headlight and install a new one. then reconnect the wires at the rear. install the headlight case back. http://chevrolettraverse.net/2011-images-gallery/

Turn the steering wheel the opposite direction of the side you are replacing. Remove the front half of the screws (4) for the black plastic wheel well covers. Pull the wheel well cover away from the bumper and you have full access to the back of both of the light assemblies on that side. Less than 30 minutes per side to replace all bulbs.
