Why is my car making a screeching sound while on parking?

whenever I start ignition while the car is on parking, it makes a screeching
noise until I put it on rear or drive.
what is the cause of this?

Spray something wet on the belt ( window cleaner/ pledge/ wiper fluid ) and see if it does it . A little grease from a leak will cause the belt to squeal momentarily

Loose belt, bad tensioner or idler pulleys, alternator or other belt driven accessories, engine bearing problems, transmission going out, or if it a standard clutch or throwout bearing.
