Tire rim compatibility

Will a steel rim that fits on a 2009 Chev
Impala fit on a 2001 Chev Impala? Trying
to help someone who can't afford a rim
and I have one that may or may not help

They are both "5 lug 4.53 inch or 115 mm High Positive Offset" so they will fit either car, just make rim diameter is the same as theirs (ie 15" or 16"). PS: kudos to you for helping someone out.
