Mechanic nightmare ...What could this engine sound be?

I have a 2009 impala by 3.5 engine and I have take It to
several shops and to dealership to try and figure out this
strange rattle that is right at the top of the engine I wish I
could upload the sound for you but to no avail I have gotten
an answer for this problem. They said it's not rod knock or
slap, it does it when car is warmed up and if compressor  
runs or when in drive no operational problem it runs like a
dream but once stopped and especially when engine warm.
Help a female out PLEASE!!
