H3 Wont Crank Temporarily. Lights Work, Battery Charged.

Asked by Johnny Dec 01, 2015 at 02:27 PM about the 2009 Hummer H3 Alpha

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My H3 just did this last evening. It had been sitting for several hours in mid
30 degree temperature. The door locks, lights, everything was working. I
turned the key and nothing happened. Lights stayed bright but no crank.
Sat there for a few minutes, again nothing. Tried again in approximately 5
additional minutes and it started. Understandably very frustrating. Never
had an issue like this until yesterday.

Any comments will be appreciated.

I had the same problem, what worked for me was changing out the battery leads. The original leads from the factory suck. I bought mine from auto-zone for $5.00.

My 2006 H3 Hummer will not start. I turned the key and nothing, but every works except the radio and it will not start. What can that be?
