My car started saying service esc and traction on the way to work today. I don't know much about this car
because I haven't even had it for a month! Can anyone explain what's going on and is it safe to drive?

unless you have a bad wheel bearing, or something major, the car is save to drive. however, you have something going on with your stability control. have the code scanned, it should tell you the problem. It can sometimes just be a bad or dirty connection at one of the wheel speed sensors.
