2009 Saturn Aura brake light recall was performed by dealer, this "fix" was to disconnect wiring harness add dielectric grease and reattach, is this a serious, legitimate "fix"? Well this does not correct the problem that the brake lights don't work as they should, the brake lights do not always illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed, What is the actual fix to get the brake lights to function properly?

Sounds like the issue was due to moisture in the connection. If so this could "fix" it. If the problem persists then take it back!
