Pontiac G6 2009 lag

Asked by MLD73 Sep 07, 2018 at 01:15 PM about the 2009 Pontiac G6 GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Mostly when going up hill and not very steep my
car hesitates. Sometimes it does this on a flat road
also. I have tried mechanic recommended fuel
system cleaners and they help for a little bit then
right back to it. Does anyone know the fix for this?
Approximate cost?

what do the plugs look like ? Is the oil black ? Have the codes read even if the light ain't on and get the definitions , unless your "mechanic " already did that

The oil isn't black and I always do oil changes on time. The car only has 34,000 miles on it. Haven't had codes read but check engine light did come on after I got bad gas but was only on for a day. I have used gas treatments that have helped some. No idea about the plugs. I don't know a lot about cars.
