Why my 2009 Chevy Malibu front speakers don't work as well as chimes intermittently

Right now the fronts speakers don't work more often than they work as well
as chimes. What would cause this and is it a easy fix?

Gotta start looking for a bad connection, trace wiring back from the radio.
