2007 bmw 530xi not starting

I recently changed my starter and like an idiot
didn’t disconnect the battery so when I went
to remove the power wire it did a small spark
so I went and disconnected it immediately
and proceeded with the job once I put
everything back together and connected the
battery the car won’t stay locked none of the
accessories come on and the car will not
recognize the key for the life of me I’m
assuming it’s the cas module but I don’t want
to waste money and time when it could be
something stupider
