Wrong gas

Question type: General

I mistakenly put 89 gas in my 07 Accord. Is this
bad? From what I'm aware of it requires only 87.
What do I do now that I have it filled to nearly half
tank ? I didn't realize right away ..

Any fuel 85 octane and up (85, 87, 89, 91, 93) will be fine. Note, 85 octane is only available at higher elevations like Denver, etc. Do NOT use E85 as it is 85% ethanol. Just buy the cheapest grade at a "top tier" station. Do a "google" for "top tier gas" and you can see which locations are rated as top tier. Top Tier fuel usually has a better additive package and their fuel is higher quality than no Top Tier fuel.
