I changed the throttle position sensor on my 2008 GMC Sierra twice thinking the 1st one was faulty. The check engine light is still on and the code indicates it's still the TCS. What else could the problem be?

I also heard of having the dealer having to downloading software to the EMC as part of a recall for for this or a similar problem on 2008 - 2011 GMC and Chevy trucks.

Have you replaced the gas cap? You can avoid it for a little while by applying Vaseline around the rubber seal on the cap itself! Take you a qtip dip into the Vaseline then spred around the seal.
