Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Toyota Sequoia 2008 4WD Iam buying  your oil 75W85 for
differentials (front & rear). Will also buy 75W90 for transfer case.
Do I  have to also order and use Red Line Friction Modifier & Break-In
Additive 4 oz 80301? Want to do the changing myself but not sure if my truck
needs the modifier.

I thought of buying Royal purple 75W-90 for both differential and transfer but
they dont have 75w-85 for differentials and rather recommend 75W-90.

I live in an area that temperatures are 35-40 degrees celcius. Will be doing
mostly highway and a bit of stop and go traffic driving. Any advise and
suggestion on other gear oils?

Regards

Have you checked out Amsoil? Living in a warmer climate you'll want the little bit thicker weight oil. Since the vehicle has miles on it already, you wouldn't need a break-in oil. Amsoil will blend with leftover residue from draining the old oil out in any application. Here is a sight on Amsoil, just look up what they recommend for your vehicle... http://www.amsoil.com

Castrol limited slip synthetic gear oil is available at many autoparts stores. Including Oreillys, Autozone etc. No need to add additive.
