Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Good day
I am writing from Norway, I have a 2008 Toyota sequoia in Ghana, West
Africa. I am told there are signs of rust on the frame. The truck is parked in
my garage and has not been used since August last year. It is on jack stands
with new oil in it. I have it started periodically – every 6months.

Truck will not be not be driven out, except periodic starting, before January
2019 when I will be in Ghana for field work. Should I let them treat it with anti-
rust now or it will not hurt if I leave the rust for now and then treat it myself in
January 2019?

I planned buying POR 15 or CHASSIS SAVER to treat it but I don't know how
urgent this should be.

All tust is urgent, its like cancer..I would jump all over it. Make sure you wire wheel and or sand the rust before using POR15....
