2008 kia rondo left tail light keeps blowing fuse

Just recently I had a person tell me my left tail light was out but that my brake lights and turn signals worked. Replaced the bulbs and nothing, check the fuse (10A) in the interior panel and it was blown so I replaced the fuse and it worked for a day then stopped checked the fuse and it was blown again. I don't know if there is a fuse under the hood or there could be another problem

No other fuses .. you may have a bad socket that "carbonized" due to the tremendous heat some of the newer bulbs generate. When a socket overheats it has an odor ... Get a digital volt meter and measure the current (I sometimes cut the plastic on a blown fuse and put my leads across the blown part .. it beats sticking the leads into the fuse slot) .. turn your lights on and see if the current begins to increase .... good luck on this problem because if it's not a bad socket you may have an intermittent short that blows the fuse if you hit a bump in the road

I’m dealing with the same thing. I just replaced the sockets so just for my sanity I’m rewiring it again to check my work because I’m worried if it’s not in my work that it is in the pedal and that was recalled by Kia years ago. I replaced that myself since Kia sent me on my way telling me I was good to go... I’m gonna check the voltage next
