Even Ford is better than 2009 Toyota Camry engine, Lexus V8 maybe, Or if you are looking for stable and family Toyota, Twin cam RSI 1600 cc or 1800cc or 2L- 20 valve , best i know, fuel and performance. Let me know.

What is wrong with this 2009 Camry engine? Which Engine are you attempting to replace? How many miles on this vehicle?

Karmon is correct. That is why toyota will fix these engines with new pistons and rings up to 150000 miles or 10 years.....for Free. Google toyota excessive oil consumption for details. Original owners should have received a notice of an Extended Warrenty on these engines. Let us know how you decide to handle this issue.
