I was going about 50 mph when my truck just died out.  I tried starting but would not turn over.  Engine keeps running even when I release key.  I have 161,455 miles on speedometer

I have a 2012 jeep compass that this happened to also. It was a fuel sensor that went bad so the fuel gauge was reading a quarter tank and was actually empty. And it would also keep turning over even after I stopped turning key. And I was told that's just how the ignitions are and that it's not anything to worry about on that end. They fixed the sensor and replaced the fuel pump and we havnt had any problems since.

Test fuel pressure. Little or no out put it will need a pump cartrige (475.00) I do not recommend using aftermarket pumps it will be a head ache and create runability issues.
