Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The driver's seatbelt engaged when I got in the seat.  when I stopped to get out of the car, the seatbelt would not release.  I need to know if there is a solution to disengage the seatbelt or if the seatbelt latch has to be replaced.

Make sure nothing is caught in the seat belt release button area. If not then yes it will have to be replaced.
