Why engine is overheating right after alternator was replaced?!

Asked by PAUL_ATANASIU62 Jan 17, 2015 at 09:22 AM about the 2008 Chevrolet Express 1500 LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Right after alternator was replaced the engine is overheating at maximum. "Engine hot,
AC off" is appearing on board. "Service battery charging system" is still appearing on
board, when the engine is cold. Could the belt be installed the wrong way?
