Electrical issues

Asked by Guru5QDHQ Jan 23, 2018 at 11:48 AM about the 2008 Suzuki XL-7 Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a 08 Suzuki xl7 here in the shop
that I installed a new timing chain in the 3.6L
gm made engine. When reinstalled it acted
crazy and now it is burning computers and
the polarity on the pcm relay is reversed on
the output side. Any theories?

1 Answer

My theory is the cam timing is way off. Not sure about the electrical stuff. Did you reverse polarity on the battery at some point?
