Should I purchase an extended warranty on my 2008 mini s turbo with only 11K miles on it?

Asked by mpadams Nov 11, 2014 at 02:57 PM about the 2008 MINI Cooper S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The dealer is obviously making a hard sell on me saying low miles and sitting around over
the years makes it worthwhile, any thoughts?

I bought my 2005 mini cooper s convertible in 2010 with 23k miles. I sold it 3 months ago with 55k miles. Only had minor issues with it (a wheel sensor needed to be changed ( $250 ) and regular maintenance. I don't think it's worth your money to purchase an extended warranty.
