dodge has had the 3.3 for years, some differences in the newer though, but i think its been one of the best Chrysler v6 engines ever

I've had three 3.3's and my sister has had two, all five of them have ran way past 300k miles, without spending more than a couple hundred dollars on repairs, and nothing major at that, and it was usually non-engine type repairs, alternator, a/c comp etc..... Now all three of mine have developed a ticking noise that sounded like a lifter or a valve, however I put between 100-150k on it afterwards, and they all seemed to run better, stronger, and get better mileage after the noise started. Doesn't make sense I know, but that is how it has worked. It could have something to do with the fact that I drive hard, and my sister doesn't, so that's why her's didn't make the noise. I'll buy another in a heartbeat.
