Brake lights

Asked by TROY1994 Apr 23, 2016 at 10:10 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2LT Extended Cab LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

when I turn my truck on the brake lights stay on.
I've replaced the brake light switch, and the brake
module in the back of the truck, and the trailer
hook-up. They still stay on and I've tried it with my
LED lights and my factory lights and they won't turn
off. If anyone has any info they can give me to save
me a trip to the mechanic and some money that
would be great.

check all the bulbs first, if not that you have a short somewhere, also check the wiring for the lights for any frays.
