Question type: General

What's the lifespan of a 2008 Chevy Silverado
1500 crew cab LS? About how many miles is too
much??

Lifespan when well taken care of is well over 200,000 miles. Too much depends on the price and how long you need it to last. Consider your repair budget and how many miles you drive each year.

40

I've seen those trucks go upwards of 300,000. Those engines are practically bulletproof as long as they are maintained (Oil changes, timing chains, normal stuff). The transmission will probably be the first thing that you'll notice the miles on.
