where is the fuel pump module located on the 2008 Silverado 1500

The fuel pump isn't on the frame. The fuel filter is

According to the dealer when they look it up by using your VIN # it is on the rear left side frame where the spare tire is...That's what they told me.

The fuel pump control module is mounted on the frame near the spare tire. It monitors fuel pump voltage. We no longer refer to the pump assembly as a module, just as the park brake isn't an "emergency" brake and the bulkhead is not a "firewall". Knowledge is no good if it's incorrectly defined.
