I just replaced timing chains and cam pherser, it will start but now won't idle

Have you tried adjusting the throttle position sensor?

Ok, why would you change a timing chain on a 2008? Do you have that many miles on it.. like 200,000+ ? And what is a pherser?

5.4 liter, the chain was worn out, the phaser goes on the front of the cam

Question Robert,when it does crank can you rev it up and run ok or not?

Yes it run right but soon as you let off the throttle, it dies

Check the IAC,Idle Air Control,may be vacume to it not on or bad or even stopped up.

It is located at the throttle body housing on bottom side.
