I have a 2008 ford F-150. can the bearings be replaced only or do you have to purchase the entire hub?

Asked by Sunfire_2551 Feb 21, 2017 at 03:06 PM about the 2008 Ford F-150 XL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have heard from different people that you have to purchase the entire hub
with the bearings already in place. Then some say you can have the races
pressed out and the new bearings pressed in. I believe this way is cheaper if it
can be done. Doing the work myself to save $$$

They are sold as hub assemblies. It is not worth trying to press off and press on a new bearing.
