Battery drained

Asked by GuruB34FQ Jan 25, 2019 at 09:53 AM about the 2008 Ford F-150 FX4 SuperCrew

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 f150, about 8 months ago I noticed
there was a drain on the battery. I bought a charger
and just charge the battery before I go anywhere. I
went to put the battery on charge the other day and
could hear clicking from inside the cab and I could
it outside also. This was happening before I put the
key in or anything, I am thinking that it most likely a
sensor but I have no clue as to where to start
looking. Could someone help please.

1 Answer

I have replaced the battery recently, within the last 6 months. I have read that some ford models have trouble with sensors going bad and it normally the ones that tells certain electronics that it is time to sleep or something.
